Wedding Planning and Co-ordination

Our wedding planner Tracey is organised, professional and most importantly friendly and approachable. Tracey prides herself on her attention to detail and willingness to make sure every detail of your wedding is just right. Tracey will be your point of contact and will be with you every step of the way. She will co-ordinate all external services and be available on your wedding day to make sure everything runs as it should.

Ten years of delivering weddings means we have a vast selection of styling elements for you to choose from to achieve the look, feel and vibe you have dreamt of. Pre and Post Wedding Transport

To ensure a safe and issue free wedding day Cowbell Creek includes a 43 seat bus to pick up and drop off your guests. Bus pick up and drop off is from Broadbeach. If you need additional busses or you are travelling from further afield we can make arrangements to cover this for you.

Brides Preparation

Cowbell Creek has a specially designed brides preparation cottage. Comfortable and fully equipped the cottage has everything a brides entourage needs; bathrooms, make-up studio, dressing room, kitchen, verandah space and styled zones for individual and group portraits… did we mention the pink fridge stocked with bubbles?

The Wedding Ceremony

Cowbell Creek has three ceremony areas; our weatherproof open air chapel, our giant hilltop fig tree and our creekside verandah. Each area offers something different and allows you to tailor your special day to suit your number of guests and the overall aesthetic of your day.

Your Wedding Photos

One of the most important components of any wedding and the way that you remember it is photos. Cowbell Creek offers the perfect backdrop for traditional or more creative wedding photography. 200 acres of rolling hills, creeks, lookouts and fields populated by Scottish highland cows, Clydesdales, friendly dairy cows, Alpacas and cheeky chooks. Your photographer will be spoilt for choice. To enhance the experience we have air-conditioned 4WD Polaris Rangers to chauffeur you, your photographers and videographers to each stunning location.

The Garden Party

During your photoshoot you can treat your guests to a pre-reception Garden Party complete with full bar (inc. tap beers), croquet, bocce and assorted party games. The Wedding Garden Party works as a relaxed transition from the formality of the ceremony to the party atmosphere of your reception. The Garden Party includes use of our horse float photo booth and gives your guests the chance to feed and interact with our Highland cattle mums and bubs when our staff supervise the afternoon feeding.

The Wedding Reception

Your wedding reception can be anything that you want it to be. Our barn can be styled to evoke any mood, with soaring ceilings, traditional barn features and various zones for dining, socialising and dancing. There are large farmhouse tables for a sit down meal and wine barrels to create cocktail settings along with fireplaces for a cozy ambience. The scope of your wedding reception is limited only by imagination, let our planner and stylist show you what is possible at a cost that would be unthinkable anywhere else.

Meet Tracey

Tracey is a people person who loves to be social. She is also a professional with 20 years experience in the wedding industry. Her journey started as an inbound wedding planner for the Japan Travel bureau which lead to wedding co-ordination within a golf course environment and finally to designing, planning and building Cowbell Creek. Over the last 10 years Tracey has improved and evolved the Cowbell Creek experience to ensure every couple gets the most memorable day possible. Once you start your own Cowbell Creek journey Tracey will be with you from your first email, every phone call, styling meeting and your wedding day to make sure everything runs smoothly and you receive true country hospitality.

Questions our guests ask

Tracey is only a phone call, text or email away but weddings can be daunting so we have asked and answered some common questions below.

  • 9.00am Bride arrives
    1pm Groom arrives
    1.30pm guests arrive

    These times are indicative, each wedding is slightly different as are time between summer and winter. Tracey will wotk with you to create the schedule that suits you and your guests.

  • We don’t. We have $1500 included bar tab in all packages that can be added to by the couple or once spent can revert to a cash bar. We know most couples are working to a budget, we keep our drinks prices as low as possible and ensure you only pay for what you consume. Bar packages work in the venues favour.

  • Cowbell Creek has been designed to facilitate a photographic experience like no other. We know not everyone wants to be away from their guest for too long, 45 minutes is enough time to get most of what you can see on this website. If photos are your thing we can stay out for longer and get everything you could possibly want. You will also have approx. 2 hours with your guests before we head out for photos.

  • We do. The suppliers we recommend are not just excellent in their chosen field, they are a pleasure to work with and add to the overall quality of your day. Once the style and tone of your day is decided tracey will recommend the suppliers who she thinks will be best for you and your budget.

  • Yes we do, Tracey will be with you from beginning to end, every email, phone call, styling meeting and on day co-ordination will be handled by her. Once suppliers have been selected she will liaise directly with them to ensure smooth sailing.

  • We don’t but that’s not to say it does not offer the ultimate piece of mind. In our 10 years running Cowbell Creek it has never been needed but depending on your situation it may be a good idea.

  • All licensed venues operate within noise restriction rules. Cowbell Creek is sound proofed to stop noise escaping and has been acoustically engineered to ensure audible comfort for our guests once the music starts.

  • Most couples choose to stay in Broadbeach where they are spoilt for choice. The most popular hotels in Broadbeach are Meriton Suites, Peppers and the Casino. There is also a selection of boutique AirBnBs in and around Austinville that cater to wedding parties. Tracey can advise on this fi needed.

  • No. There is a campground within 500m and some AirBnBs within 10-15 minutes of the venue. Most guests take advantage of the included bus and stay in Broadbeach.
